My name is Ann Kelly. I am a fully qualified Professional Counsellor / Psychotherapist and work with adults and couples in face-to-face, telephone or online counselling sessions from my premises just of the M6, in rural Co. Galway. I have worked for several years in the field of Counselling and Psychotherapy. Having first obtained a Certificate in the Foundation Counselling Course, I continued my studies and qualified with a Professional Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Tivoli Institute, Dun Laoghaire. I am accredited with the IACP (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I also hold Diplomas in Grief and Bereavement Counselling, Mindfulness and Social Studies and have undertaken courses and hold Certificates on Suicide Awareness and Prevention and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I attend regular supervision with an accredited Supervisor and follow a programme of Continuous Professional Development, which include workshops, training courses and reading extensively, to enable me to continue with and maintain high standards for my clients.
